Mumbai: To handle the extra number of passengers going to Prayagraj during Kumbh Mela 2025, Central Railway will run 14 special trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to Mau. These trains will start on January 9 and run until February 27, 2025.

CSMT-Mau Kumbh Mela Special Train (14 Services)

 Train No. 01033 (CSMT to Mau): This train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11:30 PM on January 9, 17, 22, 25, February 5, 22, and 26, 2025. It will arrive in Mau at 10:00 PM the next day.

Train No. 01034 (Mau to CSMT): This train will depart from Mau at 11:50 PM on January 10, 18, 23, 26, February 6, 23, and 27, 2025. The train will get to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 2:30 PM the next day.

Where will these special trains stop?

Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Talwariya, Chhanera, Khirkiya, Harda, Banapura, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Chhivki, Mirzapur, Chunar, Varanasi, Shahganj and Azamgarh

What will be the structure of special trains?

There will be two AC 2-Tier, four AC 3-Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class coaches, and two General Second Class-cum-Guard Brake Vans.

Booking for these special trains will open from 20 December 2024 at all PRS centers and on IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in. General Second Class coaches will be unreserved and their tickets will be available through the UTS app.
